Water Potability

The use of water from ground, wells and springs is increasingly common these days. Water plays a key role in the health and well-being of consumers.

The use of water, whether for consumption, for daily tasks, for washing and/or irrigation processes, or for use in swimming pools, needs to ensure that it is adequate and fulfills its purpose without endangering users’ health directly or indirectly.

There are several factors that are either directly or not directly associated with water quality, such as wells, ground holes and springs that are influenced by spaces around, soil composition and for the existing contamination.

The existence of fecal contamination in the soil, the soil instability due to rain, the existence of leaks from pipe´s degradation, can represent possible sources of contamination and consequent degradation of water quality.
